How We Deliver

Argon manages every stage of turning a secured gas turbine into commissioned, on-site generation, coordinating the qualified engineering and service providers required for each scope. The seven stages below cover what that process includes, from first identifying available equipment through performance testing on U.S. soil.

than new equipment can be built

OEM slots and grid interconnection timelines now extend beyond many data center development schedules. Argon starts with generation assets that already exist, shortening the path to power.

Seven stages from secured asset to power on site

Secure

Stages 1 to 3

  1. Stage 1: Source globally

Argon tracks gas turbine inventory in markets around the world and evaluates each unit against the criteria that determine whether it can be redeployed: OEM, vintage, fuel tie-up and legal status. Units that clear that screen move into Argon's acquisition process, where Argon secures the asset before technical diligence begins.

  2. Stage 2: Complete technical diligence

Once an asset is identified, Argon runs full technical due diligence with qualified independent engineering and service providers, including condition assessment, refurbishment scope and life-extension studies. That diligence is what turns a piece of existing equipment into a unit Argon is willing to stand behind through reconditioning and delivery.

  3. Stage 3: Acquire and contract

With diligence complete, Argon structures and negotiates the asset purchase agreement and the contracts that govern the rest of the relocation. This is also where the delivery schedule and scope for the customer's project are set.

Move

Stages 4 to 5

  1. Stage 4: Dismantle and preserve

Argon manages the dismantling of the unit at its existing site under a documented method statement, with preservation procedures defined for the equipment, transport plan and storage conditions. Site logistics are coordinated so the equipment is protected from the moment it is disconnected.

  2. Stage 5: Transport and clear customs

Argon program-manages the heavy lift, packaging and insurance required to move the equipment, along with customs and export clearance into the U.S. This stage covers everything between the original site and arrival at the reconditioning facility.

Deliver

Stages 6 to 7

  1. Stage 6: Recondition to a defined return-to-service standard

Argon manages an overhaul performed by qualified independent service providers to the inspection, repair and testing scope established for the specific unit. Warranty coverage and long-term service options are defined for each asset and project.

  2. Stage 7: Reinstall, commission and performance test

On site, Argon provides technical advisors to the EPC and coordinates commissioning and performance testing with the selected service providers. The unit is not considered delivered until it has been reinstalled, commissioned and tested on U.S. soil.
